PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Preliminary Budget of the Town of Germantown for the
Fiscal Year beginning January 1, 2027 has been completed and filed in the Office of the Town
Clerk of the Town of Germantown, Columbia County, NY, where it is available for inspection
by any interested person during office hours. The Town Board of the Town of Germantown shall
hold a budget workshop and public hearing on said Preliminary Budget on October 29, 2026
starting at 5:30 pm. At such hearing, any person may be heard in favor of or against the
Preliminary Budget as compiled or for or against any item or items therein contained. Written
public comments may also be submitted to townboard@germantownny.org prior to the public
hearing.
The following are the proposed 2027 salaries of certain Town Officers of the Town of
Germantown:
Town Supervisor: $6,600
Deputy Town Supervisor: $2,500
Town Board Members (4): $3,000
Town Clerk: $9,335
Highway Superintendent: $70,380
Members of the public may attend the public hearing in person at Town Hall, 50 Palatine Park
Road, Germantown, NY 12526 or via Zoom audio/video technology by accessing the link on the
